MATERIALS

• What is wicker?

Wicker is a weaving process, not a material. Wicker is traditionally made of material of plant origin, but plastic fibers are now also used. Wicker is light yet sturdy, making it suitable for wicker outdoor furniture to be moved often at the porch or around the backyard. A variety of plants are used such as reeds, grasses (including bamboo), creepers (including rattan), and thin tree branches (especially willow).

• What is rattan?

Rattan is a naturally renewable palm that grows in the tropical regions of Africa, Asia and Australasia, and is used for furniture, handicrafts, and building material among others.

• What about stainless steel?

Stainless Steel is used in outdoor furniture because of its corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance. Regular maintenance and cleaning is required.

• How does that compare to rust-free aluminum?

Aluminum outdoor furniture is lightweight, weather resistant rust-proof. All these benefits turn it into better value and makes it a preferred material when it comes to outdoor furniture.

MAINTENANCE & CARE

• Can my furniture be kept outside all year round?

You might want to leave your outdoor patio table and chairs in the garden, but it's best that you cover them to protect them from severe weather. Garden patio sets are usually made of all-season materials, but covering them will help prolong the life of your patio belongings. 

• How much maintenance & care will my furniture require?

It doesn't require a lot of effort, time or money. However, you should always keep in mind the following: clean your patio furniture regularly; often clean your glass tabletops; prevent rust by applying paste wax; remove rust immediately after it starts; eliminate mildew right away; buy custom covers or use tarps.

• Should I cover my outdoor patio furniture?

Just as we cover up to protect ourselves from the sun or wind, we recommend that a good quality furniture cover be placed over the outdoor furniture when not in use.

• Caring for Cushions

Different fabric types require different cleaning methods. We suggest that all textile cushions are covered or stored inside to extend their life. Never store cushions while they are wet. Warranty excludes stains, fading, stretching or flattening of cushions.

• Caring for Wicker Furniture

It’s recommended that you spray and rinse the outdoor wicker with clean, fresh water.
We recommend not placing wicker items in direct sunlight for extended periods of time as this will reduce the life span of your furnishings.

• Caring for Aluminium Furniture

It is normal that small imperfections in the powder coating occur at some point. Powder coated frames should be washed down regularly with mild soapy water and rinsed thoroughly. Warranty specifically excludes damage to powdercoat finish caused by corrosion, scratching, pitting or fading.

• Caring for Glass

Wash down glass regularly with soapy water or glass cleaner. Do not place hot/cold items directly on the glass surface. Do not clean hot glass. Sudden temperature fluctuations can cause glass to break. Be careful not to strike the glass or place any heavy weight directly on it.

• I've spilled some food on my garden furniture, what can I use to clean it?

To avoid stains on furniture (made of textilene), remove spills promptly. Stubborn stains can be removed using proper detergents. Do not use solvent type cleaners. Wash down your textile furniture regularly either with warm fresh or soapy water and a soft bristle brush or a soft cloth.

MISCELLANEOUS

• How long should outdoor patio furniture last?

Most high-quality outdoor furniture is designed to resist temperature fluctuations and various weather conditions. You should expect years of use from your outdoor furnishings.

• Does outside furniture get hot?

If your backyard furniture is constructed of metal frames it will get hot when in the direct sun. Keep in mind that some metal furniture can hold the heat more than others. For instance, aluminum movables will be hot when in direct sunlight, but they will cool down quickly once moved to shade or as the sun sets. Steel furniture will hold heat longer requiring a longer cooling period.

• Does modern outdoor furniture rust?

Yes and no. It all depends on the material. If you have wood or wicker furnishings you don't have to worry about rust. If your patio furniture is constructed of metal, the type of metal will determine whether it can rust. Aluminum outdoor furniture will not rust because alumium is a non-ferrous metal which means it has no iron in it. Wrought iron or steel furniture can possibly rust.

• How easy is this outdoor lounge furniture to assemble?

All furniture pieces come with assembly instructions, including pictures, making product assembly manageable for relatively handy consumers. Confirm you have all the parts and hardware before you begin, and do not throw away any packaging until you have completed the assembly. We recommend building on carpet or protected floors to avoid scratches

• Can I choose different frame and fabric colors?

In many cases, the items we offer can be customized to a certain extend. Тhe majority of our furniture can be ordered with different fabric colors for cushions, or come in a few frame colors.

• How accurate are the colors?
